so let's give it a whirl, eh?
today was just damn awful.
yesterday was hella fun, john's birthday, mojo burger, guitar showcase, giant rice krispie treat the size of a hallway.
cons: car broke its ass down. got out of the shop today, was only $100 for a new hose, could have been much worse.
but because of that, school:
ugh. worthless. boring morning lecture, the hall's always freezing, it's impossible to get comfortable.
inbetween my morning class i forgot my book and didn't have my laptop or enough cash to play pool and still eat, so i was bumming around for an hour and a half.
my comm lecture was fine, although now i know i have a huge wild and crazy assignment coming up in like a week and i need to do well to maintain my ridiculously high standard of grades.
and bio was...worthless as usual.
well, since my car was dead, i had to take the bus. jesus. i hadn't taken the 63 in a good long while and i forget just how ridiculously long you have to wait for the damn thing. ~35 minutes for a bus is an unpleasant wait.
guess what i get to do tomorrow (today)? BIO LAB FUCK YEAH, RIGHT?! DSIGJFSGJIHFDIJGHFJGKIHFG
goddamn you biology.
oh well. in other news, i can't ever sleep, but i'm going to reno in late march to visit my good friend Tim. Lord knows I need the break from this school crap. three months to go.
ugh. damn this school situation. at least i understand my philosophy work for tomorrow.
oh yeah i have a really bad cold. ffffff
but when it goes away i think i'm gonna try and spend my empty period mon/wed between classes doing some hardcore working out at the school's pretty rad gym.

It's another long night. I think I get less sleep in college than I ever did in high school. fffff
never taking another 9am class again. i learned that the hard way.
anyways. exalted did not go well today. i rather uncalmly excused myself, but feeling better now.
tomorrow (today, i suppose) i have to give a speech on gay rights for my comm class. i hope it goes well, it is a topic i have a lot of passion for. might have to quote the tail end of sean penn's oscar speech.
either way. so much work this week. so much work last week. i wish i could just have something where, when i get home, there isn't more work to do. but that would be a job, and well, college comes first. damn.
either way. i'm way too exhausted to really know what i'm talking about. but i'm getting the manic bits pretty hard and it's just too hard to sleep.
oh well. i've got class in the morning, i'd best get to it.
also, goddamn i want one of these:
$800, though. there are a lot of nice bags i like out there, but they're all up in the 200-500 range.
oh well. maybe i should buy another pair of jeans or something.
oh, and Reno for spring break. gonna go see tim. cool beans.

so my school is having sexual awareness week this week, and in the student union they were handing out free gift bags of candy & condoms.
the candy was cool, but what the hell man, there's no way i'm going to get much use out of the magnums they put in there. lawl.
in other news, lab was AWFUL this week. i was there for a solid 2 hours grinding away. the actual experiment required we wait around and do busywork for 45 minutes while we waited for jell-o to dissolve because of pineapple-enzyme action.
oh well. the lab tech was really cute. either way, not much happening. MIDTERMS NEXT WEEK UGGHGHGHGHHGHGHGGHGH

well it's pretty early, so i guess i should detail the news of the new year (as it has indeed been a week).
well i went to benji's new year's party, saw all my friends, got horribly trashed, gave my keys to my friend, got a ride home, had a good time. parents, not so thrilled. they'll live, lol.
haven't been doing much. felt really sick this morning, never got out of the house. yesterday i bought some new cds (seeing as they didn't have the debussy record i wanted) and just relaxed. that's how it's been.
got a counselor and a psychiatrist appointment next week. going friday to buy hundreds more dollars worth of airsoft stuff so i'm ready for the game on the 25th. pictures will be forthcoming.
i hope everyone's been having a good '09 so far. i don't start school until the 22nd (and only one class, then i don't have class again until the 26th) but i've got a pretty racked up schedule. here's to hoping everything turns out well.
also, can't sleep at all. no matter when i go to bed, can't fall asleep before 4:30 or 5. shit sucks. i might actually give in and ask my psychiatrist for some medication to help my increasingly bad insomnia.

Christmas was good this year.
My haul:
$300, cash
A very masculine pen & pencil set by Carlton (and it writes excellently)
A robe! Jesus, how I've been longing for one.
We sat around, watched House, kyle played with his new gadgets (keyboard, camera), ate voraciously (holy shit, prime rib roast so big everybody got a whole rib). It was nice. When I roll back into town tomorrow I'll hopefully pick up a new phone to replace my toilet-destroyed one.

watched a shit-ton of House. made me feel kind of better.
think i'm getting less sick.
definitely getting a new phone.
got back into Fallout 3.
rocked the house in Call of Duty (no surprise there).
got almost all of my laundry done.

going to mom's tomorrow. it's not that i don't like her, it's that i don't like the alien feel to her house, i don't like the cats, and i really don't like the drive.
